Token Economy

Token Economy or Cryptoeconomics describes a field of science that deals with decentralized, economic processes. This includes the tokenization of digital assets, the pricing of coins and mining as an incentive for network participants.

 

Tokens are a virtual representation of assets. Almost anything can be represented as a token meaning it can be tokenized and stored on a Blockchain. Token represent the value and ownership rights of the tokenized assets in a clear and unchangeable way and can thus be exchanged in a network [1].
